It is another Monday morning, it’s the 25th April 2022, and  this is Bob McEvoy with the regular Monday PrayerCast here on the Semper Reformata Podcast, it’s our weekly News and Prayer Update from NI with a Christian perspective. We’ve a slightly different style of podcast for you today, – a pre-recorded interview with Callum Webster of the Christian Institute, and Callum is going to update us on some current issues. YOU’LL NEED TO LISTEN THIS TIME – I don’t have a transcript of Callum’s content.

Todays Grace Gem is from Thomas Read:-

Reade quoted Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:17: ““Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new!” Reade Wrote:
Our perceptions will be new.  Our principles will be new: Our practice will be new. Our plans will be new. Our prospects will be new. Our privileges will be new: Our portion will be new.
All those exceeding great and precious promises, will be ours.
To sum up all this blessedness, we shall experience in this world a progression in holiness—and in the world to come, a perpetuity of bliss!”

Let’s pray…

Our Heavenly Father, we thank you again for the work of the Christian Institute, and others like them who will stand against the wickedness that prevails in this present age.  Give them joy and fruit for their labours, and success in their many campaigns.  May we all remember that the victory IS the Lord’s, that satan is a defeated foe, and that we are on the Lord’s side. And as the father has loved us, while we were sinners, help us to love others, to love our neighbour as ourselves, to bless and not to curse, that we might seek to win other for our Saviour. Amen.
