Carey Ignores Biblical Truth

A former Archbishop of Canterbury and supposed ‘evangelical’ has implied that he believes that the suffering of the unregenerate soul ends with death.

Former Christian, ‘Lord’ Carey declared his disbelief in the eternal punishment of the wicked, denied the plenary inspiration of Scripture and the divine attribute of the Justice of God when he declared that terminally ill patients should be assisted to terminate their earthly life and go into eternity, ‘to ease their suffering’.

He admits that this is not a position he reached by reading God’s Word, but by his experience of watching people’s suffering.

This statement puts him at odds with official Church of England policy, but how many more clergy and laity within England’s official apostate church agree with him?
