Technocracy

Technocracy: Agenda 2030 and the ‘Fourth Industrial Revolution’ looms. Who is behind this agenda and what is their ultimate aim? A basic examination of the history and economic philosophy of ‘The Technocracy,’ and its modern incarnations in globalist organisations and movements; their schemes and plans for the future of mankind, and the evil forces that drive them. 1. The History of Technocracy.

One of the hallmarks of modern governments across the world is incompetence!  An American blogger mused that the real pandemic of 2020 wasn’t Covid, it was government incompetence.  If you’ve realised that democratically elected governments are often incompetent, and they are incompetent because those who sit in parliaments and who hold high office are often not qualified for or experienced at the responsibilities they hold, you will understand the basic motivation of the early technocrats. Here’s a very basic definition of technocracy:-

“Technocracy is a form of government in which the decision-maker or makers are selected based on their expertise in a given area of responsibility, particularly with regard to scientific or technical knowledge.

(Greek techno = skill)  The Depression made people look for a better system of government. Many began to think that the wrong people were in charge, that the country would be better governed by people who were qualified in the skills required to run a successful company, people with the SKILLS to govern, rather than just an ability to garner votes. Technocracy was their answer.  It was in these circumstances that the hitherto low key Technocratic activists came to public view. There were two reasons for this.

1. Howard Scott. (April 1, 1890 – January 1, 1970)  At the end of World War I, Howard Scott was already working with others to promote his ideas about how engineers could govern better than unqualified politicians and the greedy bankers. In the early 1930’s he was a lecturer in engineering in Columbia University in New York, where he was using his position to further his philosophy of government, backed by the university itself.   In 1932 this came to the attention of…
2. Hearst Newspapers.  Randolf Hearst heard that Columbia University was promoting and teaching a completely new government and economic system, and he knew that it was a story that would sell papers. Technocracy suddenly became a national conversation – a completely new start, not just for America but for the whole world. 

It failed though. And the reason it failed was that Columbia University discovered that Scott was a fraud. His eminent engineering degree from Europe didn’t even exist. Concerned about their reputation, Columbia instantly fired him, and his group of supporters, banned them from the campus, and Hearst, who, along with the university had been bankrolling Scott and the Technocracy movement felt that he had been robbed, defrauded. He took instant action, and banned Scott and the technocracy from any of his papers on pain of dismissal of any journalist or editor who even mentioned the word.

Scott, now penniless met and joined forces with one M. King Hubbert, (October 5, 1903 – October 11, 1989) an American geologist and geophysicist, and together they registered a company, Technocracy Inc. Let’s summarise their plans, (Paraphrasing from their own ‘Technocracy Study Course,’)

1. Supra-nationalism. The establishment of an American Techtate, a multi-national political/economic bloc that would include all of North America, including Greenland, and some of the northern states of South America.  
2. Democratic government to be dissolved. Replaced by ‘experts’ (that begs the question, which experts!) Decisions would be made by by ‘The Science’^TM.  You might say that technocracy was ‘The Third Way.’
3. Education refashioned. Hitherto children and students were encouraged to think for themselves, but in the Technate, children would be trained to support the needs of the state, taught what to think, instead of how to think.
4. Social engineering. The technocrats were keen to change the behaviour of the population, through scientific education, and psychological influences. 
5. Own Nothing. Removal of the right to own property. Houses and land, farms etc would all be the property of the Technate, and allocated on a fair basis, dependent upon need. Cars too would be in public ownership.
6. Universal allowance. All basic human needs would be provided by the state. Food, shelter, medical treatment. Abolish the working week, even the month.  So no more weekends, No Lord’s Day, people would work four days on, three days off, so that productivity would be on a constant 365 days a year basis, rather than the 5 day working week of that time. (And to some extent now) 
7. Abolition of (what is now) fiat currency. But this was the driving force behind all of these other innovations.
8. Constant monitoring of the population. How much energy would be needed? How much energy credits should be given to each home? To make these calculations, constant surveillance and monitoring of the population would be necessary. A system of social credits would be required to measure journeys, heat, food etc for every citizen. 

With such ambitious supra-national plans, and with so many eager supporters, why did the technate not come to reality? There are four main reasons, as far as I’ve been able to discover:-

1. Egotistical naivety. These scientists and engineers actually thought that they were better than everyone else, that they had superior intellect and ability, and that when they presented their plans to the common people, the plebs, they would simply accept that the experts knew best, and offer no resistance.  
2. Political resistance? The Technocrats were apolitical, neither left nor right.  
3. Logistical problems. How would it all work, practically speaking? Without computers, without the connectivity of the internet, without automatic intelligence, how could multiple Technate-wide transactions be processed without millions of multiple processing events, massive amounts of paper and armies of civil servants. 
4. Gradual improvement, post-war. Following the Second World War, there was a rise of optimism in the USA and even those who had thought that a technocratic solution was the way forward were drawn away by President F D Roosevelt’s ‘New Deal’ – an attempt to bring government closer to the people and alleviate hardship. 

By the late 1940s any appeal that Technocracy had was ebbing swiftly, and the movement fell into abeyance during the 50s and 60s, becoming little more than an obscure movement of eccentrics and fringe intellectuals and scientists. King Hubbert resigned, and Howard Scott remained the head of Technocracy Inc. until his death in 1970.

2. Modern Technocracy – Same Aims and Principles – Different Methods.

Following the death of Scott, and the reduction of Technocracy Inc to a handful of people, one might have thought that the aims and principles of the movement would have died out. They should have, but for a man called David Rockefeller. Rockefeller was one of the wealthiest men in the world and he wanted to stay that way. He had ideas…

• In 1973, Rockefeller met Zbigniew Brzezinski, a political science professor at Columbia University and author, and together they founded the TRILATERAL COMMISSION with the stated aim of creating a New International Economic Order (NIEO). It is the stated purpose of the Trilateral Commission to do away with our present price based currency system, and replace it with a completely new way of buying and selling, with their currency based on ENERGY and RESOURCES…  They speak of “Global capitalism in transition,”  Check their website. The Trilateral commission is Technocracy reborn, but under a new name and with more subtle methods of achieving their aims.  They are ‘The Elites’ – the people who know best, just like the early technocrats.  Check out their website for yourself. 
• In the 1980’s the Trilateral Commission sold its vision to the United Nations organisation as ‘Sustainable Development’ in regard to world consumption. In 1992, the UN convened the Earth Summit in Brazil a programme was a greed, “Agenda 21.” The agenda for change for the 21st Century. It is still in force, but has been extended and and expanded. This agenda includes, a new economic paradigm that is almost identical to the economic aims of the Technocracy, – a resource-based economic system that uses energy as currency. Cities are to be converted into ‘Smart Cities’ as national borders are gradually erased, and the world transformed into a borderless Utopia, – rural dwellers are to be forced into these cities. No-one will be exempt. To achieve this goal, all production MUST be in the hands of Technocrats who will run the economy, and make all decisions for both the manufacturers and the consumers. 
• But how will the Technocrats persuade governments to abandon their national borders, relinquish their currencies, hand over control to ‘experts’ and ensure that parliaments, established by democracy, take a back seat. Who’s going to vote for such an agenda? 

That’s where the World Economic Forum comes in.

So, who or what is he WEF? Let’s hear what they say: “The World Economic Forum is an independent international organisation committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. Incorporated as a not-for-profit foundation in 1971, and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, the Forum is tied to no political, partisan or national interests.”

So, it’s GLOBALIST, it is TRILATERAL (Business, Politics and Academia), AGENDA-DRIVEN, and it is CROSS-PARTY, or with NO POLITICAL ALIGNMENT. It was founded in 1971 by Klaus Schwab, a German ENGINEER and ECONOMIST.  Let’s call him for what he is, a TECHNOCRAT. In a 2017 interview, Schwab said “I have to say, when I mention now names, like Mrs. (Angela) Merkel and even Vladimir Putin, and so on, they all have been Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum. But what we are very proud of now is the young generation like Prime Minister [Justin] Trudeau … We penetrate the cabinet. So yesterday I was at a reception for Prime Minister Trudeau and I know that half of his cabinet, or even more than half of his cabinet, are actually Young Global Leaders.” 

Do you recognise any of the progressive agendas of the 1930s technocrats in modern government terminology and policy? The continual surveillance of people’s lives? Vaccine Passports? The energy certificates, let’s call them ‘Carbon Credits,’ the meeting of all human needs by the state, – ‘Universal Basic Income?’  Education for human conditioning, let’s call that, ‘woke ideology’ ‘diversity and inclusion’ ‘gender issues…’ all being taught in schools, from the earliest ages, Private ownership to be forbidden  – we might say, “You will own nothing and be happy!”  

There is another tool in the cabinet of the WEF, and of the technocrats, and that is the proposed “Programmable Central Bank Digital Currency.” After all, as Henry Kissinger said (and he should know) “He who controls the money controls the world”) The dangers to our personal freedoms and liberties are immense.  Every CBDC transaction can be tracked and recorded and the inevitable demise of cash would bring an end to anonymous transactions.  CBDC requires a digital identity, – just like they have in China, where the population is controlled by a system of social credits, punishments and rewards for what the state deems to be good behaviour. China is now a Technate.

The grandiose plans of the original technocrats were promoted as the panacea to the dereliction and disease left after the Great Depression. Or as Klaus might say, in modern terms, “Build Back Better… – a Great Reset.” 

3. The Christian Response.

The Christian response is not armed insurrection. I’ve noticed people on various social media site calling for insurrection, for citizens to rise up against the powers that be, to take down this wicked and corrupt system by force. We are not there yet. We must remember the wisdom of James in James 1:20 So what do we do. We are NOT helpless. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5  Let’s explore some options:-

1. STAY AWAKE. 1 Peter 5:8, Ephesians 6:18  Luke 21:36   2 Corinthians 11:14 Recognise that there is evil taking place in this world, that there are people with evil, malevolent intent, and be aware of what their plans are. Educate yourself, to research and read, to discern the times. John 8:32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
2. PRAY! Pray without ceasing. This is a spiritual battle, it is good verses evil, it really is Christ verses Antichrist. The globalist agenda is truly Satanic. The spiritual weapon for that battle, the weapon which is most effective against the schemes of the devil and his lieutenants is prayer. Prayer is our effective weapon in this battle. James again, James 5:16  Now, as evidence of the way that prayer is feared by the satanic forces of globalism, I would just draw your attention to the way in which the globalists have legislated against prayer in parliaments across the western world. In certain circumstances, you can be arrested and charged, under UK law, for simply lifting up your thoughts to God. Now, why do you think that the globalists and their puppets in our parliaments and assemblies and councils want to stop people praying? The devil knows that prayer is powerful, his acolytes hate it as much as he does, and that should be a spur to us – to pray!  
3. REDEEM THE TIME. Ephesians 5:16  In Ephesians, Paul recognises the evil of these last days – the times have been evil right throughout the gospel era, – we are not experiencing anything unique. But as the end times draw nigh, and the days of the Lord’s return approach, I do believe that evil will rise up, that the devil will kick back against his own impending fate, which he is already aware of.  So Paul gives us an explicit instruction. We are to ‘Redeem the time.’ Let’s not be time-wasters in these last days. Psalm 90:12  We must tread carefully through this world, seeking always the will of the Lord. We certainly should not waste our time with worldliness. 
4. READ and STUDY THE WORD OF GOD. When Paul tells us to put on the armour of God, he specifically references the protection that we have  becoming thoroughly acquainted God’s inspired word. Ephesians 6:13  Be passionate about the Bible. Get to know it, intimately. 
5. TRUST IN THE LORD. I know this sounds simplistic, but when evil comes, trust in God. The Bible is full of precious promises for the Lord’s people who will simply rest on the Lord, and trust him as a little child trusts a parent. Proverbs 3:5   Psalm 37:4-6  Romans 8:28  
6. REMEMBER YOUR DESTINY. We are heavenly citizens so let us always remember that attractive though this world may seem, it is not our home, and true freedom and blessing will only come when we are dwelling in the New Jerusalem. Hebrews 11:8-10  The WEF’s 15 minute cities, that are being established right now, the Smart Cities, (Belfast is a designated ‘Smart City’) will be sold to the gullible masses as ‘sustainable’ and ‘convenient’ – almost utopian… but they are not our home, – like Abraham, we are looking for an eternal city. Like Paul, 2 Corinthians 5:1
7. PRACTICALLY. If we cannot or should not react with insurrection, at least at this point, is there a practical course of action would could follow? I think, practically we could build strong networks. Support networks will be vital if we are to avoid being sucked in to the WEF beast system, where practically you will be forced to comply or starve, – unless there are strong networks of people determined to peacefully resist and provide support for each other, the practical exchange of goods and services.  

Yes, we do have a strategy, as believers, to wage war against the satanic agenda of the globalist cabals and their forces, a strategy that is Biblical, defensive and that will literally put the fear of God into our foes.

So, what have we learned? Firstly, that the present danger that we face is not a recent phenomenon,  but is a rehashing of long laid plans, except that our breed of modern technocrats unlike their forebears, actually do have the technology, in the internet, to carry these plans out. We have seen how they will do this, by carefully planting their agents inside governments and cabinets, by whatever means, and we have observed how these plans are being already enacted. 

Then, we have established a basic biblical strategy, to counter this satanic onslaught, based around prayer, doing spiritual battles, wrestling not against flesh and blood, but against the dark powers that have possessed these people, and are holding them in their sway. 

Here’s a prayer, a ‘Collect’, from the old Book of Common Prayer:

Almighty God, give us grace that we may cast away the works of darkness, and put upon us the armour of light, now in the time of this mortal life, in which thy Son Jesus Christ came to visit us in great humility; that in the last day, when he shall come again in his glorious Majesty, to judge both the quick and the dead, we may rise to the life immortal; through him who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Ghost, now and ever. Amen.
